During product demos, we often get the same kinds of questions. In this blog, we highlight the 4 most common questions so that you can enter your own demo well-informed.
What does the 14-day trial entail?
After completing your onboarding, the 14 days of your trial period begin. During these 2 weeks, you can use all the tools of Presscloud, from generating press releases to compiling press lists and personalised pitches.
Additionally, you can fully personalise your account, from filling in your company details to adding spokespersons, and from inviting team members to setting the desired language.
The only thing you cannot do during these 14 days is view the entire database and send press releases. After all, we also want to protect journalists and therefore, do not give everyone with an account access to their data (or inbox). If you want unlimited access, you can purchase a license through one of our options.
What topics can I write about?
Another question we consistently get: what to write about? The honest answer: we don't always know either. We speak to so many companies, and often you are deeper in the matter than we are. We can hardly know what's happening in literally every field.
Therefore, we cannot really advise on that, but fortunately, it's not necessary. Since May 2026, the Newsfeed has been live. This personal feed is filled with all kinds of PR opportunities/news hooks that are relevant to your company. These can be static trends, like a holiday that aligns with your core business, or a dynamic trend, when there are important developments in your industry that you can write about. We even make it so easy that we already provide the hook and add a button for 'Generate Press Release'.
What data do you have on journalists?
Our database is quite complete. Of all journalists in our database, we know the first name, last name, email address, and medium/media. For many journalists, we also have their phone number and monitor what they write about, so you can address them more specifically.
However, we want to protect journalists as much as possible, and therefore, all data is protected by default. Moreover, we have made it impossible to export their personal data - everything is neatly kept within the Presscloud environment.
What can I expect in terms of results?
The critical question! Unfortunately, we can never guarantee anything - no one in the Dutch PR world can. No matter how good our tools are, we will never promise that publications will result from your press release(s).
We can promise that we will do everything we can. It all starts with finding the right news hook, where the aforementioned Newsfeed comes in handy. The quality of the press release, the main image, and any additional campaign images are also important. Additionally, the number of publications depends on the relevance of the press list and the pitch, for which we always recommend our (AI) tools. Finally, timing is crucial: a Tuesday or Thursday morning is often more effective than a Friday evening.
All in all, with our experience and knowledge, we can minimise the risk and give you solid advice on how to make it into the news. So, feel free to ask for help! We're happy to assist you further.
